Personally, I am a big reader. I am always reading business books, motivational books and sales books. To be honest, I am not sure if they help me or not in my business, but I do enjoy reading them. Even if I pick up one small thing from an entire book, it is worth the time!
Since we’re all homebound now, with not much to do, I thought I would great to speak to a few other industry professionals, friends and colleagues and get their recommendations on books that have helped them along the way with both their business and photography.
Here is a list of some recommended readings:
Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Influence by Robert Cialdini
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
The E-Myth Revisted by Michael Gerber
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie

You will notice some overlap on the recommendations by some, so I would definitely suggest starting with those. Personally, I have read 8 of the books listed above and the rest are now on my list! I truly hope my fellow photographers take advantage of this list and downtime to really educate themselves as much as they can in both their photography and business. Happy reading!!
